ok so im back. and i admit China wasnt as bad as i thought i would be. in fact it was actually an eye-opener.

i mean surviving 9 days with no msn and sms, in a culture i don't particularly like, with a language i suck at...big achievement for me.

first surprise: China is actually more urbanised than i thought. haha at least we didnt have to bring an umbrella along when we wanted to go to the toilet. there are actually flush toilets haha. yeah and esp in shanghai...so many skyscrapers. [sidetrack] oh yeah i went to the oriental pearl tower which is suposedly the 3rd highest tv tower in the world. we went to the viewing floor which is at 263m high. the view wasnt that spectecular.

second surprise: I could actually read and understand the chinese they used!!! and i was dreading going to china cos i thought all the words would be so cheem that i wouldnt even recognise it. phew big relief!

and some places were really interesting. like yue fei's tomb the oriental pearl tower. oh yeah and i had to climb 398 steps to dr sun yet sen's tomb. haha super fun and i did pt at the same time- carried my mum's backpack which weighed a tom i think. haha.

anyway too much things to write here so i shan't bother. i cant wait for mt kina. and it's like only 4 days away!! whee! it's definitely worth sacrificing my hols over. but i really have to cram...finish all my projects.
