Flag Day 2006!
much thanks to those who donated to me :D:D HEEHEE.
i did my exercise today okay! 5 times up and down the taka stretch and two times up and down the whole orchard road. by the end of four hours i was so tired of saying the same thing over and over and became incoherent. plus i smiled so hard until my muscles froze into place.
but met nyam's mum and sis! her mum was really nice and donated generously :D:D
yay, i've decided that i really really really want to be an obs instructor before i do anything else. i cannot survive in a 9-5 desk job because i will die out of pure boredom. i realised i need challenges, i need excitement and i need that adrenaline thrill. it's my passion that drives me now, and will keep driving me.
the person who is possibly my biggest inspiration (besides my mother), is mr kenneth tan. scoff all you want, snigger all you like. how many of you get to know him well enough to
know him? talking and listening to mr KT, i'm amazed at his pure strength.
He's studying for his masters at the same time while fulfilling his duties as ODAC teacher ic, pe teacher, physics teacher, house teacher ic (above all the house teacher advisors), NYAA camp teacher ic, OSL teacher ic, SYF coordinator, IPP (in place protection) coordinator, OM teacher ic. all these school related activities on top of his personal and church life. He's participated in countless triathlons/biathlons/duathlons/runs/rockclimbing events, he's scaled so many mountains. He's also a certified rock climbing instructor, first aider etc etc.
How many people can juggle that much. even thinking of how much he handles daily gives me the creepies. here we are, juggling school work, cca, and leadership positions and some of us are far from thriving.
i'm sure most odacians will agree with what i've said.
i can't wait for national interschool sport climbing championship and UICC Climbing world cup 2006! <3!
