There's a place in your heart
And I know that it is love
And this place could be
Much brighter than tomorrow

sometimes, a time comes along when i'm really touched by the people and the things around me.

updates first-
psl orientation went smoothly on thursday, and i hope that the next batches of psls will rise up to the challenge. srsly, being a psl is not about that badge on your collar, it's not about that position of authority in school, it's about the passion for helping others, and i hope every psl will have that spirit in them.

friday was the day of my english orals. i hope it went well, mr jt is strict, and he asked me only 2 qns, so i'm kinda scared. sat in the canteen and chatted with yanhan. i talk too much really, but when i'm alone, i think too much sometimes. anw ri guitar concert, was good, i feel. except the parents looked strangely petrified during the rock band part!! haha probably not used to such "noise". but i enjoyed myself (: and i met some ppl whom i haven't seen in a long time (and i no longer recognise...), like theng and slau. and thanks jappy for helping me take the vid (: haha i donated half my packet of chocs to dawn (who was suposed to share with tami) so she would not starve :D

(sometimes i find it strange that i can't attend a ri concert without someone thinking that something scandalous is going on. why can't a girl have close -and purely platonic- guy friends? we teenagers are just too sensitive at times. and i would also like to know how attending an ri concert would "tarnish" the name of psb?! why can't i support a friend?! not as if i'm engaged in some hankypanky! what if next time i attend a concert to support my brother?!)

ahwells, nvm shan't elaborate anymore, these things no longer affect me as much. a hug does wonders sometimes.

saturday we woke up really early and got to sungei buloh. but i'm proud to say we have successfully planted 60 mangrove seedling! :D yay i feel accomplished. and some visitors thought that we were carrying out maintainence works! hello, i'm not a nparks official (even though it's cool to be one)! touching mud is actually quite fun (: met mumsy at taka royce counter to oogle ah the chocs heh ^^ then went to cut my hair after that (you're prob wondering what hair i have left to cut -.-) and i got home so zonked i slept from 8pm-8am today :P

memories flood back to me sometimes.

"Lala third lang yesterday was held at the lab 2 :D and we were pampered with aircon and whee. I found a file under my table and it appeared to belong to a girl called Andrea from 209 RGS. Then Sam Lau was looking through the stuff and Zheng Xuan put a sweet inside it."
- you know, who would have guessed this would be the start of a beautiful friendship, and also a catalyst of a few more beautiful friendships to come? life surprises me in many ways.

and i see how people change (for the better) as they grow older. gaining awareness, maturing in thought and emotions, but at the same time, not losing their hope, vibrance, spirit and passion. (tom, will, hiok, chao, xty, batch 15)
- it's really lifting :D

but some things will never change (my love for 209, my love for odac, and rachel -who will always be my blanket on a cold day)
- i embrace and love them

there will always be negative change, but for now, i choose the see the positive ones.
tom's posts nowadays touch me occasionally, and i see greater understanding.

i quote, "Let your life be driven by passion. :)"
i know i am, i'm loving and living my passion.
