We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life, yeah

national day celebrations today were quite cool actually! haha i had fun jumping around during song singing session. and yaye rachel! well done for flag raising. no mistakes, no screwups (: good!

then the LAST psl session of the year. i'm really glad to see the 107ers bonding so well together. it really touches me deeply. thanks for the great year, and thanks for the experience. it's hard to believe that next year, i'll be a spsl and guiding the psls to do wht i've done.

speech day rehearsals. you know, originally i thought that top in subject meant like the top few people for that subject, and they would all get prizes. BUT i realised today that no, top in subject means like really TOP TOP, like you're the highest in that subject for the level. it's quite scary really, i mean, i never knew my lower sec science was that good. i mean, sure i knew i generally did well for science, but my gpa's average. ahwell, i guess i should savour it while it lasts, plus receiveing top in subject for lower secondary science is motivating to study all the more harder and put in more time and effort into my work. i really don't want this to be the only year that i'm receiving a prize for my academic achievement.

there are so many cca related awards anw! and the boor band had to play for 5 whole mins just so that all the prize winners can walk into the hall and be seated. and they played the speech day vid, and guess what? odac has three pictures in there, and it's the last three shots - of mt kinabalu, white water rafting, and our white water rafting pic. odac rocks, i mean of course it's an honour to the school that some of their students scale mountains, but we've never received an official recognition or smth you know.

then we had sec 1 orientation 07 meeting. planning's already gearing up for next yr, it's quite exciting, although im not the head overseeing orientation because im alr overseeing FAM and SLI. yes, SLI will be done by me! :D it's going to be as cool as this year's, if not ten times cooler! and i'm also doing it with yanhan (i think) so yaye! but during today's meeting we discussed a lot of interesting stuff, like why can't orientation be longer (for my year it was 9 days!) and why we have to cheer low etc

there are times, when i think im so involved in school that i don't have my personal life, that i don't have time to commit to other things i wanna do, to commit to other community outreach programmes i'm passionate about. but then i realised, i actually do have a life, because i do go out with friends for fun stuff a lot more than other ppl. and my life is quite exciting. we all get our thrills from different ways. some ppl get theirs from sneaking into clubs to flirt, i get mine from doing stuff like rock climbing and kayaking, and occasionally wakeboarding. i mean, i do want to club at one point or another, to see how it's like, but i can always do it when i turn 16, there's no hurry.

and i'm planning to join a community outreach group once i have sec 4 options, and go for work experience in different fields. so yeah, i'm kinda happy. and i realised i'm not sacrificing a lot for school. like today, when i could go out and have fun with friends, i chose to go for the meeting. but then again, i wouldn't mind because it's fun both ways. ah, maybe im not very coherent.

btw, to _ , we really really really need to talk.

We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
